Volunteer Descriptions

Precincts Work
Precinct workers are asked to help go door-to-door to Republican households to pass out voter information guides and candidate information. These are generally done on weekends or in the evenings and are done closer to election-day.

Register Voters
Volunteer to staff local festivals, events and new citizen ceremonies. Be sure to fill in Spoken Languages in the OTHER Field if you have special language skills.

Phone Banks
Phone bank volunteers are asked to call voters to conduct surveys, generate interest or get out the vote. This can be done from either the Santa Barbara or Santa Maria Headquarters – or even in the privacy of your own home! Phone bank volunteers are needed year-round.

Opinion Maker
Help us get out the Republican message! Has one of our endorsed initiatives or Republican candidates caught your attention and you would like to voice your support? Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper and share it with us! Let us know if we can help you writing the letter or with contact information for your local newspaper! Would you like to endorse a candidate or ballot initiative? Let us know and we can help.

Office Work
Have some extra time? Volunteers are needed to help staff the Santa Maria and Santa Barbara offices. Activities range from helping with large-scale mailers to general clerical work.

Work at Events
Help staff our reception desks at festivals, monthly meetings or special events.

Yard Sign List
Want to let your neighbors know who you support? Become a part of the Santa Barbara County Republican Party yard sign list. No volunteer time needed here, just your commitment to display yard signs for Republican candidates.

Volunteer on Election Day
Help us get-out-the-vote on election day. You'll be contacting voters to ensure that they make it to the polls and vote.
